Presently, I work as an software engineer for IEM Corp., Troy NY.
I have been involved in developing a mobile robot for inspection tasks at rail yards. For more information please visit http://iem.net/robotics

My professional interests lie mainly in designing and developing algorithms for computer vision and signal processing applications. I code primarily in C++ and leverage open source tools such as OpenCV and ROS among others. I use Matlab for protoyping and testing my systems.
Previously, I have been a master's student at the Oklahoma State University.
I have worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Advanced Sensing, Computation and Control. under the guidance of Dr. Weihua Sheng.
Specifically, I have worked on the following sub-fields during my graduate research :
- Physical Human-Robot Interaction (pHRI).
- Robot Learning from Demonstrations (LfD).
- Role of human physiological signals such as EEG, EMG in human-robot interaction
